Scope and language

Manuscripts must be written in English and address anesthesiology, pain medicine, intensive care or surgical sciences.

Open access, no APC

There are no article processing charges. Published work is openly available under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.

Double-blind review

Author details belong only in a separate title page. Eligible manuscripts are reviewed by independent external experts.

Use Times New Roman 12 pt, double spacing and 2.5 cm margins. Submit the manuscript as a Microsoft Word (.docx) file and provide 3–6 MeSH keywords.

Funding and conflicts disclosed

Vancouver references with available DOIs

Human and animal research

State ethics committee details and informed consent. Animal work must follow ARRIVE and institutional requirements.

Study guidelines

Use CONSORT for randomized trials, STROBE for observational studies and PRISMA for systematic reviews.

AI cannot be an author. Permitted language-editing use must be disclosed in the cover letter; consult the full journal policy before submission.
